INDICATIONS: Mild to moderate hypertension in patients who have been stabilised on the individual components in the same proportions. DOSAGE: Adults: 1 tablet daily. Max. 2 tablet daily.
CHILDREN: Not recommended.
CONTRA-IND: Aortic stenosis. Renal impairment. Pregnancy, lactation.
PRECAUTIONS: With renal impairment, collagen vascular disease, immunosuppressant therapy, or leucopenic drugs monitor white cell count and urinary protein. Anaesthesia, diabetes, hepatic impairment, gout.
INTERACTIONS: Lithium, sulphonamide-derived drugs, NSAIDs, allopurinol, procainamide, probenecid, immunosuppressants, vasodilators, clonidine, K+ sparing diuretics, K+ supplements, ypertensives.
ADVERSE EFFECTS: Proteinuria, hypotension, rash, loss of taste, blood dyscrasias, photosensitivity, fatigue, cough (rare)
